I built a workflow that uses Git and Claude to stay in sync as the Design System evolves.

Design systems drift because Figma and the codebase are two places keeping one set of facts. This workflow gives them one shared memory. When a designer changes a variable in Figma, Claude reads it through the Figma MCP, compares it to the repo, and opens a branch with the diffs. Product reviews the update in Storybook, an engineer approves the pull request, and the change deploys to production. Every token change leaves a trail you can review, approve, or roll back, so the system can keep changing without losing track of itself.
